It’s always fun to experiment with lighting. I’m enjoying back lighting lately, I love the smokey sunrise feeling that comes from overexposure and camera glare. What a beautiful, elegant and modern wedding! We all braved through ninety degree heat during the formals and bride and groom portraits in Tanner Springs in NW Portland. Luckily we had plenty of water, and a backup plan for finding photographic shaded areas. I’m glad they chose Tanner Springs for their formals, it gave their photos [...] I don’t visit my hometown often, but when I do I’m sure to stop by the local Saturday Farmers Market on the Capital Square. My Dad and I have been taking photos together during my visit and you can see both of us in the center photo, along with a jumping kid! [...] Most of us complain about the cold and wet Northwest winters, but I am continually amazed at the frequency of warm and sunny days.
